It can be nerve-wracking if you are unable to do a trial and you are meeting your HMU artist the morning of your wedding. But Sarah is amazing. She asked all the questions about your skin/hair/etc beforehand to make sure she fully understands what you are looking for and she comes prepared! She and her 2nd artist Coleen arrived right on time, set up super quick, and even came supplied with lighting. I had 3 bridesmaids also getting hair and makeup in addition myself, and Sarah and Coleen powered straight through for 4 hours working to get us all ready on time. In the end, everyone looked amazing. I’m very happy I went with Sarah, she is a true professional!

ncredibly kind, professional, responsive, accommodating and actually listen to what you want. I had my trial in the Spring and got to try a few different hair and makeup styles. I wanted a braided hair style and a natural but elevated makeup look that complimented my simple dress. During my trial, we talked about the type of wedding I was planning, my dress style and any accessories I had. Sarah and Brenda took lots of pictures for me to mull over after the trial. They were totally laid back and made me feel comfortable. For the last couple of months before my wedding, they were readily available to answer all of my questions through email (how last minute changes in accessories would affect my hair style, skincare suggestions, etc). A few weeks before the wedding, they sent an outlined schedule of who would be getting their hair and makeup done at various times so we could plan the morning accordingly. On my wedding day in Brooklyn, Sarah and Brenda got to my hotel early and were immediately ready to go! They were so sweet to my family and my future in-laws as we ate breakfast, joked around, hung out with my dog, etc. Each family member wanted a different style of hair and makeup and Brenda and Sarah were very accommodating. They were unfazed when different family members came to the hotel room to say hi and to take pictures of us getting ready. At the end of our session, they touched everyone up and made sure everyone looked amazing. Sarah taught my sister how to put in my veil without ruining my hair as I wanted portraits with and without it on. Brenda made sure we weren't oily and our makeup didn't budge as temperatures were reaching 85+ degrees. Throughout the whole night, my hair and makeup stayed put through eating, drinking and dancing and I couldn't have been happier! My family members loved how they looked and couldn't believe how nothing smudged! Please don't hesitate and book Sarah and Brenda now!
